The Dolica PS-240 Portable Photo Studio Kit is ideal for product photography. This all-in-one kit is great for online sellers and home users that want to make great product shots. The PS-240 is completely enclosed in its own case that when unfolded becomes the 16" light box. The case houses the light stands and 4 color lighting backgrounds. Installation takes around 5 minutes. The light stands have integrated legs that release conveniently from the base. Furthermore the light stand legs have an extended leg housed in the each leg that can swivel out for further stability. The light stands use a universal GU10 or MR16 light bulb 50 watt (5000K color temp, 625 lumens) GU10 Iridescent halogen bulbs. However they can be replaced with any color temperature bulb. The recommended color temperature is around 5000K since whiter light is preferred to a warm light temperature. Our kit also includes a convenient camera stand to get the right angle when shooting in the light box with your point & shoot camera or DSLR. The camera stand has center column that can tilt 90 degree from the base of the column and extend an extra 6" from the top of the column. The color backgrounds are non reflective so they can produce a flat smooth background image. The Dolica PS-240 All-In-One Portable Studio kit is great for an inexpensive solution to professional product photo taking on the go. 

* Please be careful when handling the base bulb housing of the light stand when bulb it turned on. The 50 watt halogen light bulb uses a tungsten filament to light bulb that gets hot to the touch if used for a long period of time. It is recommended holding the top clip of the bulb housing to tilt the bulb up or down when the light stand locking knob is loosened. To ensure proper bulb life and care, please allow the lights stands to cool for 10 min before putting them away in the light box case. 

* Replacement studio light bulbs can be any GU10 (also known as MR16) light bulb. The Dolica PS-240 comes with 2 50 watt GU10 Iridescent halogen bulbs however you can use any compatible halogen, xenon, or LED GU10. It’s recommended to replace the GU10/ MR16 bulbs in pairs.
